Happy US Thanksgiving folks!

I come baring the next major update for Our Pantheon Legends.

Here's what's new:

• General typo fixes/format changes. I re-wrote a lot of the book to hopefully make it more clear.
• I'm now using butler, so hopefully I'll be able to push small updates (like new Chaos Cards, etc) more easily. It's not really meant for ttrpgs, but there's no reason not to use it here.
• NEW mechanic - Mort Quests. Now you can have short mini adventures within the game where your mortal characters attempt to do something. Deities can help, hinder, or ignore. Either way dice decide their fate. Deities also now have an action where they can inspire mortals to go on quests.
• NEW Examples of Play section - it is still incomplete but houses some examples of possible situations that could come up and how to resolve them.
• NEW additions to the Appendix - Now there's sections on Mapping Alternatives, Playing Solo, a revised Coloring the Palette section, and some sections to use for inspiration when defining creatures and societies. I plan for even more stuff for the appendix in the future.
• NEW Chaos Cards - 18 new cards bringing the amount up to 70 total! Some of these now ask players to define mortal quests.

In case you didn't see, a few weeks ago I tested the Solo Play rules in two public play tests posted over on the game's forum here. Check them out if you're interested. They were both a lot of fun. Feel free to post your own solo games if you'd like as well. I've love to read them!

As I've mentioned before, this game is by far my most popular project. When I released the last version I sent out an email reminder and saw a massive amount of downloads from it. This has got me thinking that maybe I should attempt to do a small kickstarter to fund some nice art and a more professional looking book. The pdf would still be free, but the presentation would be nicer. I might consider a limited run physical version, but I would still need to research that. Regardless, this is more idle thought. I don't have concrete plans yet. It's certainly something I would like to do one day.
